SPOILER ALERT (for those who have not seen last weeks episode)
Just saw last weeks episode... WOW... I enjoyed the season but sorta was losing hope for me. I mean... seemed like the writers were trying too hard with Jacks father and stuff. Or President being assassinated attempted anyways by people within US.
Then last few episodes took a turn. Honestly when Doyale came on, leave it to Ricky. But still... then Jack got wind of Audrey and hes was Jack again! But Uber Jack! Personal now. Great character dev. And then with President Daniels became interesting.
Then This last episode didnt know what was going to happen. Then this one... Palmer surprised me didnt know what was up, finally I was getting shocked again on 24! Then Fayed and the truck getting crashed I honestly did think it was real... and thought wow everyone is expecting this... they cant seriously have fayed escape this way.
And it was a show was great. And then he did escape honestly but Jack was on him I thought Jack'd get captured somehow. But he is Uber Jack and freaking took out all Fayeds men. And then wow...
Such a great seen (face off homage) when just Fayed and Jack left standing and both run out of bullets and run towards eachother. Didnt know what the hell was going to happen honestly it was exciting!!! Honestly cant say I was on edge of my seat too much this season like have been before with 24.
This moment was great and Jack totally pwned Fayed lol. Doyale "Damn Jack..." AND THEN... Im like okay wait its over? But err like quite a few episodes left right...
(Phone call a but random happens RIGHT at this climax hopefully this is explained... i mean come on...) But I really didnt expect them to bring the Chinese back until the last episode with some cliff hanger ending that Audrey was alive (figured theyd do that)
But didnt expect it now so... wow. Now what... I skipped the previews for this coming ep want to be surprised. Ands honestly I wanted this personal flare although that Old Chinese guy sorta is a lame villian as a main they need some Chinese version of Fayed. Maybe get Jet Li in on 24 rofl. Ehh[/b]

LOL Red.. I agree though. And how the heck did Ricky Schroeder get on the show?! He's such a dweeb lol. That was awesome though how Jack just pwned all those fools, including Fayed and Ricky's comment lol.
The seasons always take a wild turn at about this point so I wasn't surprised with Audrey being alive.. i'm betting there's some connection with the Chinese to all the terrorist stuff though. Can't wait to find out!
And Yfy, 24 is hands down THE BEST SHOW ON TV as far as pure excitement, action, twists and turns, intensity, never-know-what's-going-to-happen type of stuff hehe. You have to start from the beginning though. Well worth renting the first season.. you'll be hooked immediately. What I really love about the show is the fact the EVERY episode counts. No "filler" episodes that have nothing to do with the overall main story/plot that you find in most series. Also, the only person you know for sure that will not die is Jack.. everyone else is expendable so it really keeps you guessing.

First Sam is right, best show for all that. And when you think they've exhausted their twists and intensity well... every season surprises you. This one no different with last weeks ep it again did that.
I knew Audrey was alive however I didnt expect it to be shown this soon. I figured last episode or close to and leave you hooked for next season. And the Chinese must be involved somehow. But there's still... 7 about eps lefT?
Thats A LOT! But I look forward to seeing Jack go more nuts. Personal now honestly sure it'll be amped up but loved that about first season very personal the rest of the seasons lacked that for the most part.
AND SCHRODER a dweeb BUT I must say he is pretty good here. Oh and Im sure Jacks Dad will be brought back.
Honestly when Jack said a few eps back (when he stopped moping finally and whining rofl and entered Uber Jack) That
"I need to finish this. And when I do, Im going to find the people responsible for Audrey's murder, and Im going to take care of them too."
Or roughly that great transition and I was hoping perhaps... next season or even the rumored 24 movie... it'd focus on this.
Get out of freaking LA for a change seriously... how many freaking terrorist attacks can happen in LA... you'd think after 5 thwarted attempts in that city the terrorists would think "gee maybe we should try another city to maime?" choose another freaking city!!!!!!!!!!! My ONE or mostly one complaint about 24... I know why they have it in LA logistically and financially but really now. And yeah its involved other areas around LA... (SF this season) sometimes and bombs have gone off but its always centered in LA and the main terrorists gallivanting around there like it's Disneyland. If I have to sit through another season of some yahoo terrorist trying to bomb LA Im going to scream.
Which is why this Chinese/Audrey twist is a nice change of pace. Make it more personal now... hopefully stays that way. They built up the relationship between Audrey and Jack enough for you to care a lot (I mean I do...).
Anyways ebnough ranting lol.

24 = one of the best shows on TV ever.
I've watched every episode since the very first one in the first season and loved every scene that Jack is in. (Do I have a man-crush on Jack? Maybe...but I'm not saying.)
This season started off amazingly when jack went all Lost Boys on the bad guy to get out of his cuffs when he was chained to the chair. I was started loosing faith in the writing when Jack's father and brother were introduced, and just about gave up all hope when Cloe (sp?) was all lovey dovey with the bald alcoholic. Then there's the irritating Palmer as president story line, and frankly why don't they just kill his sister off with a mountain lion? (Season 2 reference for you old time watchers) And the CTU you love-story-lets-make-out-in-the-hall story line makes me want to take a cleaver (Soprano's reference) to the damn TV.
BUT when Jack's on, the world is a better, albeit much more violent, place. Hanging Fayed with his hand all stuck up around his neck gave me hope that they fired all the monkeys they hired to pound on typewriters for the mid-season.

Kellor funny. I agree. I was losing much faith this season. I did like ALL scenes with Jack. Esp when he kills Curtis really feel what hes going through. But after that nuke went off it went down hill... Jacks father storyline ugh. Palmer... bleh. Then love story between Nadia (hot hot hot yes) and Milo... WTF? Seriously came out of nowhere honestly... but if CTU love track records go they'll die some horrible death in a few seasons so all will be right.
Now... Mideason replacement indeed! Really Once Jack heard Audrey was dead the story got better. Then Palmer wakes from coma and has balls finally. And then...
Well ROFL I said all this... but last ep things turned for the better I felt like the whole first 3rd of the season was like watching Phantom Menace so we can get to the only installment we want to see, Episode III...
Anyways w00t for MOndays ep! =)

ROFL Zu. Great ep although honestly sadly very predictable. I knew they wouldnt let Daniels gone that easily this early... Palmer signing off somehting would happen Daniels be acting Pres and resend the orders Palmer gave and Jack would have to go Rogue.
As come on what season of 24 has not had a "rogue" Jack? Really I dont think there has been perhaps 3 only one where Jack wasnt rogue for part of it. =)

I watched 24 last night. Beyond the after-school special moments with the female characters (why, why, why do they ever take the camera out of Jack's immediate vicinity?) it was a definite improvement over the mid-season episodes. I like that Jack's cursed now.
Back to the female characters, I'm not sure what the writers have against women, but with the exception of Cloe prior to this season, the women have been bumbling, overly-emotional, lacking confidence to the point it affects their jobs, needy, horribly irritating or just plain diabolically evil. Most of the guys are just moronic, or evil. I'd say there's some kind of discrimination going on.
Heroes has replaced 24 as my 'must watch when it comes on' show for Monday night, and monday's episode was a great reason why.

I tape heroes (yes there is an ancient device that uses magnetic tape to record images and sound) and watch 24 although I think Im switching. I agree with Kellor. Mostly. Although more recent seasons honestly Ive seen strong female characters not just Chloe... this season has been bad and well Kim isnt the brightest bulb in the pack of female characters and yeah well... I think there are other notibale female characets throughrut theirhe 243 seaosnbfer thats arent so... jiewt4
