It's a James Cameron movie so it's going to be all about the special effects and new technology for movies. I might see it since there isn't any other good titles coming out soon.

I'll save you some time, it's going to be dances with wolves but with better special effects.

It was incredible visually - 3D was amazing! IMAX 3D wow. Although the res isnt at all up to IMAX standards but if u dont see this in 3D you miss an experience. The story is good; not great; that wont be what this film is known for it ain't Dances with Wolves in terms of depth and character ---
A little disappointing at times; good acting tho mostly. Some story points seem missing as a Screenwriter I sort of take issue motivations of characters are a little too convenient and quick. I mean lots of interesting stuff though conceptually and I like the idea of the story/hero journey... and the blue alien chick was great acting by the chick who plays Uhura in the new Star Trek movie. Best acting of anyone.
Anyways... I'd give it a 7/10 story wise; visually 9.5/10. Incredible 3D experience. But that does add to story as much as it can detract a bit from story too by the awe factor although this dies down by the end sort of forget it's in 3D and the spectacle wears off.

I thought it was really entertaining and fun, although you could kinda predict what was going to happen, woulda been nice if they threw us a twist or two hehe
Im going back to see it in Imax 3d, thought I might as well while its still in the theaters. By the way, does it get tiring watching it that way for 3 hrs?

HEY MIZIA! =) The 3D doesn't get tiring on IMAX if it's first time although if you've seen it in 3D on a regular screen first before seeing it on IMAX it might.
