So - I read the changes in GU7. I guess Ill go Rifles build because - I spent so gosh darn much on a GLC a year or 2 ago. But from reading it seems I have no idea if ppl even use that anymore heh. Hear a lot about acid rifles. Also Armor - I guess you can put stats in armor now or what? Can you do that in preexisiting armor?

I was going to respec Eriskk, but thought Id stay BH try it out. And again - so much for that damn GLC. Way back when. Now probably worthless I hope not... anyways... anyone play BH currently?

I still use the GLC as my primary weapon. the damage and DPS is still hard to beat, imo. i do have a darn good acid damage rifle as well that i use as a backup. i don t do nay pvp bounty hunting though. so my view is from a PVE bounty hunter's.

The elemental rating on the GLC can't be beat with a crafted weapon. Which means, it can still be quite effective in PvP, as more elemental damage will make through all those block stackers out there.

Acid and Cold rifles are also very effective for BH's as well. Most make the decision on which to use, based on what their crit chance rating is. A higher crit chance, means less likely you'll use Acid, because it just seems a bit redundant to increase it even further. Using a cold weapon with a high crit chance, will more than likely get you the cold debuff frequently, and increase your damage.

Putting stats in Armor is done through attachments. The same can be done for Weapons and Clothing. The only requirement is that the item needs to have a socket. The GLC has no socket, which is why it's DPS and elemental are naturally high.

If I were you, I would also try out a Carbine setup. The Carbine line, in my opinion, has more perks than Rifles. And Sniper Shot just doesn't hit as hard as it used to, with all the changes to defensive rolls.

Yeah Ive been reading esp now wtih Prescience; most didnt get stun anyways; now Pre is a must have. And Carbines have RO, which heh is a far better perk than sniper shot. Id prefer carbines anyways if werent for GLC. But I guess you can create a macro and still get RO even if youre a rifles setup BH.

But really dont know. I mean PVP not sure - servers pretty light. PVE tho - well Ill play around -
