I got it, but if you've played after November 25th, you don't need to re-install.

From their FAQ here

To verify that you have the launch version installed, you can check for the "assets_swtor_main" version file in the following location on your computer: \Program Files (x86)\EA\BioWare\Star Wars – The Old Republic (assuming default installation). If you have that file present, you do not need to reinstall the game client.

+1 to you good sir! I got an email today telling me to delete everything, which I would have done if I didn't read this first. You just saved me a day of irritation.

Most people weren't full time testers so they have the 25th build and should keep as suggested BUT I suggest if you had old builds and are many more gigs over to clean install. I did that and naturally I can't redownload the launch build... but meh I'd rather not have future issues.
