Ok, so you're all probably sick to death of remapping all your key bindings, and changing your UI around to how you like. Well, there's a quick and simple way, of bringing over all your settings, to any character you choose.
It's a bit technical, but I'll try and make it simple to follow.
In your SWG Directory (C:/Program Files/StarWarsGalaxies), go into your Profiles folder, and than into your account username folder. Inside, select the server that has the character with all the settings the way you want.
Now inside there, you'll have a bunch of files with numbers. These are your character ID's. If all your characters have the same settings, then it'll be much easier. If your characters are different species as well, it'll be easy to find the settings for those specific characters as well.
To start off, you want to copy the following files:
.ca
.uis
.inp
If you can't see these file extensions at the end of the file name, go to the top of the folder window, go to Tools than Folder Options. In the pop-up window, click on the View tab. In the menu below, scroll down till you find "Hide extensions for known file types". By default, this box will be checked off. You want to set it so it is not checked off. Click on ok, and you should be able to see the file extensions.
So, now you want to grab those three files. Copy them, and go back to your username folder. Go into the Shadowfire folder, and paste them in there. Now, all you need to do, is delete the other .ca/.uis/.inp files in there. Then, rename the ones you pasted in, to the corresponding character ID. So if you have two characters, you'll need two copies of the files you pasted in, and so on for those with three.
Now, if you have characters with different settings, you can right click on the .ca file, and go to Open With.. than select Notepad. When the file opens in Notepad, the first line will list what species your character is.
However, if all your characters are the same species AND gender, you can just right click on the .ca file, and look at the creation date. If you happen to knowwhich character was created when, you can easily identify which belongs to which.
Hope this helps making the transitioin a bit easier. If I've confused the hell out of anyone, just let me know, and I'll include pictures.
