Anyone plan on playing a Healer? I'm debating between a Tank or Heal spec so I can be useful in a group. I guess in the long run, it doesn't really matter, but if there's going to be only a few of one spec, I'll be one of them.

I have a feeling there will be less tank specs as MAINS... but idk. I will be doing JK and Trooper for rep char's, but JK be my main. JK has no healing. Trooper will go Healer probably because healing's my favorite role and SI doesnt help on Rep side (which will be sith main)

I was thinking about going healer, I always liked being a healer in SWG.

Cool, sounds like we'll have a few healers. Think I'll go with a Vanguard tank spec then, since I'm more familiar with tanking after playing a Juggernaut for a couple betas.

I plan on going Sage with my JC and Gunslinger for my Smugg. For the Empire side i'm thinking on going the healing route with my BH.

Wow lots of healers. I'm kind of surprised that there are no heal or tank abilities before you hit level ten so you can play around with it a bit before committing.

I know I won't be a healer but thats because I suck at it. If my wife ever gets her computer back or a new one(long story and a crappy one at that) she'll most likely get tor and she loves being a healer. I plan to stick to dps and off tanking since thats what I'm good at, I used to like being a tank but my time in WoW put me off tanking forever

I'll roll a couple healers eventually, one for each side. But since we've got quite a few already, Vanguard Tank it is.

I'll be focusing healing on my SI main Sith side then. And eventually do a healer on Rep may make my Trooper a tank/DPS machine tho JK is DPS so want to mix it up.

After playing a Jedi Consular/Sage up to level 19 I have to say that it was my favorite. I really didn't expect it to be but... lol, there ya go! I guess you can't have too many healers hehe. I did a few heroics with a full group and I was the only healer... it was very difficult if the tanks and support didn't do their job right. Several times we encountered 4 gold elites... I could float one but trying to keep the other 3 players alive wasn't easy. I think I was level 14 or 15 at that time so crappy heals. I think 2 healers would be great in a group of 4! We can also deal some pretty good damage

Funny I never thought I'd like JK and planned on Consular - but loved JK story and gameplay over Consular - and loved SI more than Consular story wise and even though mirrored liked SI feel. I was only healer some heroics. Definitely need one. I like how Healers can do dmg too. And early on - you don't really need to focus on healer tree since doesn't really do too much and can respec AC skills. So really until 20s and 30 you can be an effective healer w/o being dedicated in the tree. From my experience
