I am wondering.. If they take 1 account for 1 Char.. wouldnt u need 2 Games for this?
I mean i signed up for SBW and registerd my CE for that accound. Now if i create a new 1 wouldnt i need to sub for a 2nd account?

My guess would be, everyone signs up for SBW THEN we create on the same server the republic LXB.
I think sam mentioned that u can have a Sith and a rep toon on the same server right?

Did you try and apply to LXB with the account you joined BW for and CE? I believe you can still do that? In the SWTOR ComicCon panel they said you can be in a Sith/Rep same server, different char and guilds. Assume that meant same account. Anyways I'm not joining BW first. Here's the FAQ not 100% clear to me... but, it is based on the swtor guild site and your accounts used to become a member...

I quote, "All server placements therefore remain in our sole discretion."

So... unsure in Phase 3 if they add an option for say, a guild adversary which may make it possible to be on same server. There just may not be a 100% guarantee BW and LXB is on the same server.

They haven't mentioned in-game creation, only it's tied to guild created/registered on swtor site.

Nor do I think it's 100% tied to your swtor forum account... I think you obviously tie that to your game, but, I mean there's no way you can just join ONE guild only.

I'm assuming having two accounts on the site, will mean you'll need two game accounts as well, if we're doing it this way. You are allowed both Sith and Republic characters on the same server, but I have no idea if you can actually create a guild in game.

All of us who have joined BW with our 'main' accounts, will be prompted to join BW in game once we make our characters (I read/watched this from all the comic-con info that came out). And Erisk will be in LXB when he creates his character. If both guilds end up on the same server, than we can just make our Republic characters and Erisk can guild us in game, and Erisk can join up in BW as well, cause I know guilding members in game is at least confirmed lol. And yes, they have confirmed that whichever guild you're in on the site, will be your guild in game.

Really confusing system they've set up here.

Hmmm well we need 4 members pre-ordered to be transferred, or guild leader at very least however I think that's with less than 4 members? I can see that being buggy - anyways, I mean not to be selfish but I urge ppl who haven't yet joined BW first to join LXB first, to at least make sure LXB gets 4 members who pre-order so we're created/transferred. (if we make sure both BW and LXB have this, both should be fine and you can join whichever first)

I KNOW LXB has well more than 4 ppl yet to join a guild and are going to be in LXB/playing TOR. They just need to log into the site =)

Here's something from the FAQ:

"Do I need to create my guild in the game when it launches?

No. When you first log in to the server your guild has been transferred to, you will be prompted to join the guild with the character you've created. Since you are the guild leader, you will automatically be given the correct rank and permissions."

...So... doesn't that mean you CAN join multiple guilds with your swtor account and be prompted to join each depending on character/side? Okay or SHOULD... I know the FAQ says you can only join ONE guild with your SWTOR account. Once in-game you can join multiple guilds. It's so confusing.

I think a conflict would only be on SAME server SAME side........ For the game is heavily divided by side, I don't see why you would not be prompted to join both if your account is in both a Sith and Republic guild. There's no conflict there. Whatever, it should be like that.

But I mean it's still early. Lots could change/or info be made more clear about all this.

Yeah it really is quite confusing, but it does sound like you can join multiple guilds once in game. I think this whole joining on the site is just for people to get a little more organized. Hopefully they release some more info before launch to make it a bit more clear.

Just found this in the FAQ:

How many guilds can I apply to and join?

You can join one guild per each Star Wars: The Old Republic website account. You can only apply to one guild at a time with your account, but you may change your current application to another guild or leave your current guild at any time and apply to another. This limit only applies to the Pre-Launch Guild Program. In the live game, you will be able to join multiple guilds. Any of the characters you create can join other guilds.

So we can join multiple guilds, now we just need to end up on the same server.

Hey everyone, Kiir Kaanos is back!

Now, did we all agree for certain our allegiance to the Galactic Republic? Cuz I really really wanna be a bounty hunter...

Also, can someone update me on what's going on right now, what I gotta do to meet up with y'all and everything?

Heyas Kiir! LXB is Republic, but we're also on Sith with Sith Black Watch folk. Though most of LXB is still main/alting Republic. All the same server, in my first post (Space Slug).

Officers listed. Erisk, Voxyn, Kellor, Deex, Zurielle, Kall, Kitara, all in-game names can get you and ANY old LXBers in. (Republic side ONLY). For Empire, Zu is an officer (Anise there), Koloth, Aumest can get you into Sith Black Watch. See you in-game man!

Update: Gonna be a little longer than I thought before I can buy/get in the game. Probably early next week.
