Others VGers may not know Nobody is Ashnak. Or zukad is... who cares who zukad is . We've gotten a few new peeps in VG, so it can be confusing. So if you're forum name is different from VG or SWG or our former forums site, give a little clue here =)

Yes, I really am 45, retired military, college student.

My main online handle is Romadbuff, unless I'm hiding, then I use some form of _ochirn. Jochirn, Cochrin, Gochirn etc

Romadbuff is an acronym
R=Recon
O=Observe
M=Mark This is what I did in the Air Force
A=and
D=Destroy

B=Big ....Although it technically could be changed to Bald now
U=Ugly..... Yup, as ugly as the backside of a camel
F=Fat....... yea, put on a few pounds since I retired, okay, a few is 100

I have been playing online games since the fatefull day I discovered a game called Battletech, the early rendition of Mechwarrior. that was in 1995. When microsoft bought Mechwarrior and forced FASA to shut down Battletech a bunch of us moved to a fairly new game called Everquest. I was in heaven. A fantasy game, online, killing orcs and dragons and magic and all the other things you read about in Fantasy books. I played <and still have pay for the account> Everquest for 7 years now. Just like real life, I rolled a warrior. I want to stand face to face with whatever beast i was fighting. But, like anything not real in life, Everquest finally got boring and I started looking around.

Star Wars Online, wohooo, what a change of pace, from dungeons and dragons to Jedi's and Stormtroopers. I truely enjoyed the game and was just getting into it when, blasphemy, they "fixed" what was not broken and I was very disappointed, so disappointed I left though I log in every 3 months and pay the upkeep on my houses <lol>

I love to beta test games and I have beta tested just about every game on the market today. To many to list here, but if it's online, I've probably played it.

I was playing World of Warcraft when I got an email inviting me to the origional closed beta for Vanguard. Unfortunately, my computer was not current enough to participate. Then, I got invited to the open beta testing, but I had still not upgraded my system so, no go. Then Zoot told me that Vanguard was going live and that a group of LXB from SWG were going to give it a go. So. I told my son to get on newegg.com and get us upgraded. Well, $4000 later I have a system that will finally play VG and I'm glad I did it. The game is buggy, it was rushed out in an attempt to beat WoW to market over it's new expansion and it shows. BUT, I love the game, they have literally combined <stolen> everything I liked about several different games and combined it into one.

Okay, enough, See you in game. If you need help with anything, ask, i will drop what I'm doing and help.

Oh, I loved that game. I never got very far, but it was fun.

SWG was my first MMO. I stole Kellor from a random name generator in neverwinter nights. I didn't expect to play any MMO after SWG, but I when LXB moved over to Vanguard I couldn't resist.

I haven't tried Vanguard yet. Doesn't mean I won't, but I just got back from a 6 month break from SWG, off playing WoW, Ryzom, Roma Victor, Neocron 2, Second Life, Eutopia, and a forum RPG, so I'm a little busy just getting my feet wet again in SWG. I am still trying to remember where all my stuff is and what it's for.

I am Qitu, Master Tailor. My alt is Tabu, Master Entertainer. Though with the new expertise system, Creeva helped set me up to buff myself but be useless to anyone else so I could be a combat/ent instead of a buff/ent.

I'm glad to see the guild is still alive and kickin'. I was worried when I logged in and the guild chat was *crickets*

Current Staff Sergeant in the army national guard out of indiana. I am 27, married, 2 kids. I have been playing games "online" i guess since the old bulliten boards before the interent was open for public use in 96. First big mmo was diablo. spent about 4 years there. Then moved on to lots of first person shooter games for a while like unreal. Then spent 2 years in SWG as adamantine steel, and titanium steel. Now full time vanguard. In swg i was one of the origianl CD members, then moved to RASP where i eventualy took leadership there, then gave that up and moved to SOUL where i ended my time in swg.

I was Icik Ce-Iwa and Nali-dun Haso in SWG. In Vanguard, I simply dropped the "-dun" on Nali and changed Icik's name to "Issik" in order to give it a more pronounceable feel to it.

Omg are we doing bios? LOL

Ok, online games... hmm

I guess my first real online game was Jedi Knight II: Dark Forces... I went by WildKat and about four other names, though I can't really remember them now... I still keep in touch with some of my old clansmates, Yacko for one and Darklight for another... but thats another time and place.

After JK I went to JKO for a little while but my computer couldn't run it well so I gave up. I went to some other shooter game for awhile, some TFC here and there, but nothing big.

My first MMO was Diablo II (so I got into it late blah)
I didn't really play a lot and King/England was the only person I really hung out with there, and that was only for a short time before I started college.
Then I discovered WoW and I thought it was awsome
Well, obssessions being what they are, and my attention span of a gnat, over the next three years I bumped around different guilds and servers, getting into trouble here and there and maxing out my character limit. I think at one point I had all of the servers I was on plugged with characters 20+... sadly only one 60, Sheyanala, but you know how it goes.
Tried SWG after meeting Dayre and I thought it would be awsome, but my life being rather a mess then I didn't get into it and not long after I dissapeared to Okinawa Japan for the summer. Came back all excited to play SWG, realized that I had no computer and did nothing until VG came out. Now I am playing my main and several alts.

hmm I think im missing one

I'm not a VG / LXB guildie as of yet but this is Squeek (the token wookie) from the days of SWG / LXB. Later (post CU, pre NGE) I became Atok (wookie ofcourse) also ran as Kota in the later days.

Anyway yall talked me into giving Vanguard a try and so far I have the following built and working to level up.

Atok = Warrior
Roke = Monk
Roof = Sorc

I was Drase in SWG on Intrepid, which was my first online MMORPG. My brother convinced me to play with him and a friend of ours named Boethius. After that I convinced my friend Perkins to play and the rest is history so to speak. Perkins and my brother Guderian Heinz still play SWG and constantly try to get me tom come back lol.

I left SWG after the NGE and after my bro bought me WoW I played there with him and met Zoot (who already knew Perkins). Zoot introduced me to LXB and somehow convinced the powers that be that I could hook up with all of you heheh.

I'm enjoying VG quite a bit but I wish I had more time to play at this point. I'm happy to pass on my old stuff to guildies and anything I loot but can't use. As a blacksmith/armoursmith I will charge a small fee for armour but nothing else.

I'm from Ontario in Canada and am a political and sports junkie. Unfortunately I was schooled by LXB in the big tournament but I will get my revenge lol. (If you all want to do some more fantasy sports that is heheh)

In the process of completing a business plan to open my own business within the year and hope not to lose my house and computer lol.
