I was checking out stuff on my toon the other day when I noticed that I have the ability to play 2 instruments. Basically, everyone can play the lute (guitar-like) and one other instrument depending on their race/class. As an Elf, I can also play the clarinet.
So, I went and bought a lute from a bard so that I could play... not sure what. I discovered that when you have an instrument equipped, certain keys are bound to certain notes. That means you can play anything you want!
I quickly tabbed out to do some reading on the forums... and looky what I found!

I now have a ton of songs that I've downloaded and played many of them. I have yet to get together with a group and jam. This is sooo cool! For all of you that enjoyed playing SWG as a musician, you'll love this. I can't wait to play songs like Stairway to Heaven with a group. You can download different parts for the different instruments. It's really a trip! And I just had to play Whip It... for Dayre LOL!
Anyway, I was thrilled to find something in-game like this... something social to do and just have fun messing around. Yes, I'm already thinking of a concert player event, SWG style hehe.
