League of eXtraordinary Beings

After a brief time out to see if I still really wanted to play, a friend gave me an anniversary present. He paid for my transfer to Starsider, where he plays. It turned out to be just what I needed.

I know a lot of people there, many from Intrepid. Everywhere I go, I see someone I used to know from Intrepid. I joined ArmyC, guys from the first guild I was in way back in 2003. Firefallone and Maxxmillian, Tonka, Stilgar, Squenepo, Korrmed, etc. Qitu is the only Imperial in an all Rebel guild. The city and guild are very active. I'm so busy in my shop I can't keep up. I am constantly working on a back-log of custom orders and restocking vendors. I respec'd my alt from ent to commando and I am working my way through the Legacy Quest for the first time. Up to CL 29 so far.

The server is packed with people -- all over -- not just in Eisley. ATK Entertainers are in ME, Theed, Coronet, Dant MO, Restuss, the new Quarantine Zone and even places like Nym's now and then.

Just last night I was in a guild group working on getting me some high level Chronicles relics so I could make holos for the guild to do as a group. They took me to places I've never been. After 6 years of playing SWG I've never been to the Nightspider Cult Cave on Dath, the Tusken Relic Cave, and to finish off the night we did the Death Watch Bunker -- until we all died. It was a lot of fun for a stay-at-home tailor like me.

And no, there is not Role Playing going on everywhere all the time, nor will anyone force you to participate just to do business with them. You might see a little RP-lite in the cantinas, but unless you join an RP guild or city, you won't see much RPing going on.

It's not the old SWG, but it's a lot more like it than the ghost server Shadowfire turned into within months of the FCTS. I know most of you have moved on to other games, and I play other games too, but if any of you are still looking for an active SWG game, you might want to consider making the move to Starsider.

hey good to see u are active and enjoy the game ^^. i had/have a toon on SS and knew they arent all RP freaks.
I also saw that some ppl i know moved to SS, but tbh.. i am not playing any online games right now.. and i dont even waste a momement to think about loging into SWG.. i miss u all but i have no idea what i should do ingame. If ill come back ill remind that offer for sure

( i tryed to organise DWB runs that included u aswell and many other things. but either u or other ppl wasnt there..
i am feeling bad that we never did that.. maybe 1 day ill get a chance ^^ )

SWG will only be in Starsider soon; and any LXB revival in SWG will probably be there; and in different guild - definitely not Shadowfire. Say what you will about the status of the game; a fully popped server makes a big difference. Only way SWG will stay alive is that way; more than the content it will be the people.

But right now I can't say I'll come back to SWG anytime soon; I still miss it - mostly you guys - but if I ever did return I would not stay on SF. But with TOR coming out in the not too distant future I don't know. Atm I play no online games.

I dunno if I would want to return ingame anytime soon because I'm flooded with Art Projects and Research Papers but I'm replacing my fried 360 soon so I might play more on Live when I get a account. Maybe sometime during christmas break I might stop in game.
