Alright, lets see if I can tackle this.
I've made many full suits now, all for myself, and since I can never settle on one prof/combination, easily 10+ suits now.
I sit at 151 RE chance, and 657 luck when I RE. I very very very rarely get any other buffs, because I like to RE in 30 minute intervals, so I don't lose my sanity. Within those 30 minutes, I generally make 12-15 35 bits, and that usually takes up 250-300 pieces of junk loot - the combined total of both stacks of junk that I use.
I've had some stubborn 34 bits, that took 10+ tries to get it to 35. It is annoying, but sometimes it's just the way it goes unfortunately. To go from a 23 at the lowest, it takes roughly 15-18 iterations to get a 35, for me anyway, but I always try to start as high as I can. But sometimes, a 24 stat clothing item wants to be stubborn and only RE's out as a 24.
One thing I do, to increase my speed, is put both full stacks of junk loot into one RE tool. I used to split each one individually, and it slowed down the process. But, with both full stacks in there, I don't have to split them, and it only RE's one piece of junk from each stack.
Hope that answers most of your questions.
