You've seen Deex's message... please bid him a fond farewell and thank him for everything he's done for the guild in SWG.

I'm now "Guild Leader" and will probably be Mayor of NLC (no one else I'm afraid to take the reigns no one else simply logs in). I founded LXB; it's fitting it dies with me. But I don't want that; Deex kept LXB alive when it looked pointless to do so. And he created a few years of life LXB had left... thank you. However - I'm a realist. If Deex leaves the game - that's NEWS. He's been the steward and iron man of SWG and LXB; I always knew if he left the game - the game was over. After the latest fanfest, it's not pretty. LXB's future is not long as a result; I don't see any more rebounds beyond belief like in the past.

LXB as a Guild:

I don't foresee LXB sparkling back to life from the the shadow of death like before. Deex leaving is LXB's death knell. He's been the heart of LXB for years. When he goes, I'm afraid LXB will beat it's last breath. I'm just a ventilator =) That being said, I have the final nail to pound into her coffin. I won't use it for a little bit yet. I do see some people returning, some have like Kit and Yfy although not heard from them since. But they deserve an active guild... maybe LXB comes back with 5-6 players. Still - it's not enough with the game so stale to keep people logging.

I will see in the next few months, but this is really a "going out of business" time; hate to be glum.

LXB as a City - New League City:

I don't want to be mayor but there's no one else with Deex gone; I'm not active enough to do anything fancy, and we lack the active members to grow and even keep the current level with Deex's leaving. But I don't want to see NLC lie to waste even if the guild goes to guild heaven. But this may be it's fate... with Deex and his accounts leaving; and others; the shuttle will poof; and we have no influx to keep some things going. I WANT those still around and even in -BW- to stick it out the next few months. Lets just see what happens. But again; this isn't like the past when Deex kept the old LC alive; people won't return like that when the game has no where else to go.

A New Home - -BW-:

I designate the guild of -BW- the OFFICIAL transfer guild of LXB. Anyones free to go wherever; but this is where some alts and others have gone, they're from Intrepid and are a good bunch. If LXB goes down I'd like a place for everyone who may return to go to; keep us together. I'll make sure to talk to Lovto they open their arms and respect LXB they've actually loved and looked up to us, nothing but good things about our guild.


Guild Chat outside of LXB:

I also want to have an LXB exclusive or more or less exclusive place to chat. Sam's made the OG Channel in public chat rooms. No matter what happens, it's a place for LXB to connect and talk without a new huge guild or different guilds to separate us.

Also, the forums. Use them; please. It's great to see LXB members are close knit; lets not lose touch! It's the main reason so many stayed and find it hard to go.

Closing:

I won't beat around the bush, besides me having founded LXB I am not in love with SWG anymore. I find it hard to log in, I'm busy in RL, and joining -BW- sounds good if I get back into it more. However there's no one else literally, it was Kalla and he joined -BW-, and I do log in a few times a week. But I'll see what happens in the next few months but it's realistic time.

I hate to let LXB go; and I'm not going to currently but even if a few logged in more consistently, it's few too less - atm we can get consensus but that's been gotten in previous threads. Lets see what happens. Anyways, thank you again Deex for everything. And everyone else! =)

Anyone reading this, are you logging in? Kalla and Sam (Kalla still has Treezo in LXB) joined -BW-. Who logs in occasionally though still? Kaine? Nobody? How about returning people? Kit, Yfy, Zoot? Just trying to see who even tries to log in sometimes and who hasn't for weeks/months.

I don't know...I love SWG but it's so desolate. I'll keep trying. I don't have a house in League City. I like living on Tat, myself, but I could put a house in League City if it helps. This is sad.

I haven't seen Deex's message. I'll look for it.

Ok, last night I was granted guilding rights for -BW- from LoVto so that I could invite all you guys over. Anyone from LXB is more than welcome in -BW- and they're really looking forward to having us join. If I'm not on, than look for LoVto, or his alt Lujayne (seems to be on her more often).

I haven't actually jumped into BW yet. School has started up again this week, so I've been busy with that, but I was planning on getting a hold of Sam or LoVto soon and getting the invite.

I log in everyday. Whether it's for a few minutes to check mail, or a few hours just to screw around. Within the last three weeks, my friends list has been empty. A lot of the people who used to be regulars just stopped coming on. That's not me pointing fingers at anyone or anything. I know RL can pop up unexpectedly, or people just lose interest. And I totally understand that. It just gets a bit lonely at times.

As far as LXB goes, I was planning on keeping Treezo in there for the time being, just because he's a crafter and I usually don't do much with him. I deleted Kallayykamm a couple days ago, and am grinding a new toon cause that's how bored I get lol, but I'll be keeping all my toons in NLC. I could become the mayor if it's easier for you Red. Since I log in all the time, it may be easier for everyone if someone needs zoning or whatever. But, that's only if you don't want it, or nobody else does.

So yeah, if you need me for anything, just let me know, and I'll do what I can.

I don't expect anyone else to post here for a while yet and say anything, but please do when you do; but good to know Sam I was going to talk to him about that; for any LXBer to easily get into BW if they so choose. Again though, LXB will still be around for a while and hopefully NLC long as can be.

Yeah Kalla, why don't you get Treezo to run for Mayor. We'll vote for you. We being me rofl. Deex said he'd get his alts to vote for the new mayor. And we can always change later if u get busy I can step in and can switch off.

Update: Kallay, Kit, Qitu and Chacham have joined -BW- now and Treezo is running for mayor.

I guess I'll get Kel into BW cause guild chat is really quiet and its getting boring talking to myself
