SWG shutting down

I think we should all pay for one final month just prior to September 14th.. then you will get free service until the game shuts down. It would be really great to participate in the game-ending event with all of you.

I certainly wasn't expecting this, it seemed like SWG had a lot of life left in it. I should use my free time now to transfer over to Flurry and set aside some money to sub up in September.

I knew this had to happen eventually, just thought they'd keep it going until after TOR goes live.

I like Zuri's idea of re-upping just before Sept 15th. I'm interested to see what kind of event they have planned.

had to happen 1 day.. it was getting worse and worse on the lower servers.. ill try to be there

** adn i dont think they planed alot.. probably will raise spawns.. spawn boss mobs.. increase loot drops and join the game with godmode killing ppl

but seriously... Dec shutdown... maybe swotor dec??? its sad...

Surprised it didn't happen sooner. Game had to be bleeding money away from the company after losing lots of their customers.

I started a new character on Flurry(never bothered to transfer my stuff before Intrepid went down) just to check out the game one last time before it all ends. I don't know if your still playing but i sent you an email Zuri.

Just a reminder for anyone that wants to be around for SWGs final days - the 15th of this month is the last chance you have to resub. As long as your account is in good standing on the 15th (this includes those active on free time) then you're good to go.

Also, they changed the last day of billing. Previously it was October 15th, now it's September 15th... so no more billing after the 15th of this month.

As long as your account was in good standing on Sept 15 you're good to go... doesn't matter if it was free time or not. Look for -Samantha- or Bimu to get guilded.

I just put in a petition to have my Intrepid character transfered to Flurry, not sure how long it will take but it'll be nice to have my Mustafar Bunker back.
