I'm sure there are plenty of good ones out there, but I always end up using the web based scanner at housecall.trendmicro.com

I always use that when I have to remove spyware/adaware/viruses from someones PC, and it hasn't let me down yet. 8)

I suggest using Spybot Search & Destroy, Malwarebytes anti-spyware, and adaware. They all have free versions available, and all of them detect some things the others don't. Which is why I suggest always using multiple apps.

Yep, go with AVG to keep the bugs out.. and use Firefox for added protection when browsing. Use Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasofts Ad-Aware to check/clean/remove.

AVG? What's that? Ever since Zone-alarm was bought out by Checkpoint I've wanted a new stuff.

Oh yeah another thing to keep spyware out... stop searching for naughtyville Kaine =D
